CMA

Until 1998 the Canadian Motorcycle Association was the main sanctioning body in Canada. In 1998 the CMRC took over the national series and most of the local series. The CMA is now all but extinct. In my opinion, the CMA is much better than the CMRC. The CMA sent out a news letter telling what was new in the organization, gave you a chance to vote on positions in the organization, they gave you an insurance policy incase anything happened to you when you were on your bike, they fought against tree huggers and government officials to keep public land open to off road riders, all for the price of $60. The same as the price to join the CMRC.The CMA seemed to care a little more about the sport of motocross in all it's forms. click here to visit the CMA site
